In The United States, depraved indifference to human life is a criminal offense that falls under the indictment of Murder 2, a charge that is punishable by a minimum of 25 years in prison. If those responsible were to be sentenced under this law, for the wrongful and neglectful killing of each victim , their prison stay would be over 550,000 years. Knowing this, it is appalling and shameful that Dow Chemical cannot even repair some of the extensive damage done to the area in exchange for literally getting away with murder. |

Warren Anderson who was arrested in Bhopal, when he visited the place shortly after the tragedy should not have been allowed to go back to US. As a child I spent 2 very happy years in Bhopal and I had to sit helpless as this tragedy unfolded on my TV and I watched people I had known and loved die in front of me. Once again America shows its total disregard for any body else that lives in this world that belongs to us all.
